Garcinia Cambogia :
It is a shrub native to southern India. In this country, its fruit, in the shape of a small pumpkin 5cm in diameter, is used to make curry. Garcinia Cambogia has been known and consumed for centuries to promote weight loss.
Fruit peels are very rich in hydroxycitric acid (HCA), an active ingredient with the natural property of regulating appetite and blocking the transformation of sugars into fats in adipose tissue.
Garcinia Cambogia offers:
1/ Rapid satiety and appetite regulation
HCAs prevent cravings and reduce the feeling of hunger by increasing the level of serotonin in the brain, a neurotransmitter, which sends hunger signals to the body. Additionally, Garcinia Cambogia reduces the production of cholesterol and triglycerides (other fats).
2/ An action on fat metabolism
This substance inhibits a enzyme whose role is to allow excess carbohydrates to turn into fat. By inhibiting this enzyme, the body increases carbohydrate oxidation and burns extra carbohydrates (aka sugars). The fats are then no longer stored but evacuated by natural means.
Chromium (chromium picolinate)
Chromium is an essential trace element and an essential nutrient for human health. It is an insulin cofactor. Insulin acts on the absorption of carbohydrates by transforming them into glycogen. Le glycogène est une « réserve » de glucose pour un besoin du corps en énergie (muscles). In other words, it helps to stabilize and normalize blood sugar and insulin levels.
